What is your favorite type of music and/or band?
Generally speaking, anything that makes me want to dance! But lately I’ve been listening to Indie Folk – Lumineers and Monsters Of Folk. I dance to them too, but it isn’t pretty.

What was your religious upbringing, and what impact did that have on you?
As a child, I served as an acolyte, attended Sunday school and was confirmed in the Episcopalian church. And while I no longer feel that the Episcopalian church is the right fit for me, it taught me the importance of “doing (and giving) unto others as you would have them do (give) unto you.”
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Do first. Ask for forgiveness later.
What are your hobbies?
Traveling and learning to cook

Our very good friends the VanTassels (a.k.a. the FanTasstics)
Why do you stay with LSUS?
I enjoy the thought provoking lectures and feeling a connection with like-minded people in my community. I also like being able to give my son Owen, the time and space to think about positive, life-guiding principles and world religions.
Do you live in the area, and if so, how long?
Yes, we’ve lived in Winnetka for 6 years.
How long have you been attending LSUS?
If you didn’t choose the career path you embarked, what would you have pursued? Why?
A National Geographic Wildlife photographer because I love travel, animals and photography.
What is a fact about you that few people know?
I’m a PADI certified open water diver.
What is an accomplishment you are most proud of?
Being a mom.
