October Religious Explorations Update

This October we continue exploring our Unitarian identity through the lenses of the seven principles. By having a solid working knowledge of the principles, we can apply them to the foundational stories of the Bible. For example, what principles do you see in the story of Noah and the Ark? What about the story of the giving of the commandments? Each story presentation is at the children’s level of comprehension and spiritual formation, hands-on, and age-appropriate. Materials are easy to work with and simply designed to provoke the imagination. Each story and lesson provides a time of open-ended wondering for asking questions and child-constructed and child-lead conversation. Interwoven with biblical stories are lessons from our UU curriculum Tapestry of Faith. Upcoming explorations for this month are Noah, Abram & Sarai, the Exodus, and the 10 Best Ways to Live.
