My taste includes contemporary, world music, and classical. Favorites include Sting, Paul Simon, Bruce Springstein, Satie, Ravel, Vaughan Williams, Britten, Rodrigo, Dvorak, and Copeland.

What was your religious upbringing, and what impact did that have on you?
I was raised as a Unitarian Universalist. It encouraged me to become an independent thinker and to be open to people and cultures different from my own.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Take that semester abroad.
What are your hobbies?
Raising my pets (including butterflies), gardening, bird watching, working with children, traveling.
How did you find out about LSUS?
I found an ad in the local news.
Why do you stay with LSUS?
I like a smaller-sized congregation, the opportunity to participate (e.g. teach, assist with programming), the structure of the services, and the people.
Do you live in the area, and if so, how long?
I have lived in Evanston for over 35 years.
How long have you been attending LSUS?
Approximately 17 years.
If you didn’t choose the career path you embarked, what would you have pursued? Why?
Art historian, museum curator, educational television writer or producer, primary school teacher. I love education and the arts.
What is a fact about you that few people know?
An avid rock collector, I kept rocks in my first purse.
What is an accomplishment you are most proud of?
Raising my son, Henry Jr.
