Metacognition: What’s It All About?
May 1 @ 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Dr. Nancy Burgoyne, Chief Clinical Officer at the Family Institute of Northwestern University, will speak on the topic, Metacognition: What’s It All About? Tapping into one’s “metacognition,”, or thinking about our thinking (and feeling and sensing), is a time tested pathway to improve our mental health. It is also a distinctly spiritual experience when effectively accessed. Dr. Burgoyne will introduce the concepts of multiplicity of mind and the role of metacognition, provide examples, and lead attendees through an experiential exercise to access this core aspect of our consciousness.
